Direct to Garment (DTG) Manager/Operator

 

 We are currently looking for a highly motivated DTG Manager/Operator to join our specialized team. In this position, you will provide leadership and supervision to technicians, collaborate with our creative departments to successfully customize, and produce final, high-quality products for our customers.   You will work in a production-based, high-output environment to produce printed garments using high-end direct-to-garment printers and heat presses.  While art knowledge and a management background are key to the position, candidates should be hard-working, able to handle machinery with proficiency and consistently meet a deadline-driven production schedule.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

  • Oversee daily operations, assess priorities, and organize workflow to meet business goals
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Understand performance metrics and goals and help employees achieve them
  • Evaluate employee productivity and quality, providing feedback and coaching as necessary
  • Work in collaboration with management and creative teams
  • Consistently meet production deadlines
  • Maintain physical and electronic inventory
  • Perform inspection of garments, print qualityand heat transferred graphics to ensure high-quality, accurate prints, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform mechanical operation and maintenance of DTG equipment according to established guidelines, schedules, and requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Required Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least (1) year experience of direct employee supervision/management
  • At least one year of experience in running, operating, and troubleshooting DTG machines
  • Basic Math and computer skills

40 hrs / week
